Background
Marcella is an independent Professional Visitation Supervisor, with prior
experience as a teacher’s aide and in administration for a youth and family services nonprofit
agency. She is a graduate of CSU Long Beach and born and raised in Southern California.
As a parent of 2 children herself, she understands the many challenges of parenting, including
developmental and emotional issues. As a former child of divorce, she also understands the

Why not do your very best to improve the relationship with your child? As a Visitation Supervisor or Visitation Monitor, my job is to stay neutral and be a safety guard for the child. About Me:

Michelle had a passion to work with children with special needs from an early age. It was this passion that led her to establish Connecting Hands, Inc. (formerly named MAP Homes II) in 1999. She has volunteered and worked in social services for 25 years, as well as the legal field as a Paralegal for over 20 years.

Educational background includes earning a Bachelor’s degree in Child Development from California State University Dominguez Hills in 2011; Master’s Degree in Teaching in 2014; and a Master’s in Special Education with a Specialization in Autism in 2017 (both from National University).

It has been her professional commitment to serve the needs of children and families. She believes in promoting the development of life skills with a goal to engage individuals in meaningful programs and services. These programs/services include: Managing/Administrative settings, behavioral/self-care training, court supervised visitation, behavior modification plans, Live Scan Fingerprinting, integration into community settings, Notary Public Services, and Paralegal Services. She has additional expertise in areas and training as a Certified Crisis Prevention Trainer (CPI), ADHD, and Autism.
